After being suspended from Congress, Ashish Deshmukh joined BJP today in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
Ashish Deshmukh said, I have not joined BJP for MLA seat. I will not contest the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. I will work as a general worker in these elections.
Ashish Deshmukh said, Congress has become an old party now. Congress cannot do anything in the upcoming elections. Although earlier I was leaning towards Congress, I assure you that from now on I will be with BJP. Take me around the streets of Vidarbha, I don’t mind.”
