Controversies surrounding the film “Adipurush” have reignited as members of several Hindu organizations created a disturbance at a multiplex in Palghar, Maharashtra. The incident occurred in Nalasopara on Sunday when the movie was being screened. The protesters argued with the staff, demanding that the film be stopped, and the audience vacate the hall.
In a video capturing the incident, a man can be heard expressing his discontent, questioning whether the audience would teach such content to their children. He voiced his outrage at the perceived insult to Hindu deities, stating, “We are ashamed. We can’t tolerate the insult of our gods and goddesses.”
Despite the multiplex staff’s attempts to defuse the situation and encourage the protesters to resolve the issue outside the hall to minimize inconvenience to other moviegoers, the man insisted on addressing the matter on the spot. He sternly demanded the immediate cessation of the movie screening, asserting that they were not weak or cowardly and were willing to make extreme sacrifices.
The incident reflects the ongoing controversy surrounding the film “Adipurush,” which has faced criticism and opposition from certain sections of society. The situation at the multiplex highlights the escalating tensions and the need for a resolution that respects differing perspectives and promotes peaceful dialogue.
