Yashwant Mohite has been appointed as the President of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Nagpur Chapter, while Manish Soni is the new Secretary of the organisation.
The decision was taken at the annual general meeting of PRSI on Wednesday. Mohite’s name was proposed by the outgoing President S P Singh.
Among the other office-bearers, Akhilesh Halve (Maha Metro) was unanimously elected as Vice-Chairman, Manish Soni (Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Nagpur Smart City) as Secretary, Prasanna Srivastava (Mahavitaran) as Joint Secretary and Sharad Marathe (Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board) as Treasurer.
Praveen Take (District Information Officer), Dr Manoj Kumar (WCL), Praveen Sthool (Mahavitaran), Amit Bajpai (AAA Media) and Nikhil Savarkar (PRTimes) were elected as Executive Members.
Hemraj Bagul (Director of Information), Anil Gadekar ExDistrict Information Officer, M M Deshmukh, Ex-Public Relations Officer and SP Singh, Dr Moiz Haque, Dr Nitin Karale, Pradeep Kumar Maitra, Shirish Borkar will serve as Advisors of the organisation.
Interestingly, this organisation of public relations executives has been working in Nagpur for the last two-anda-half decades. PRSI Nagpur Chapter has been awarded and felicitated several times at national level for its outstanding work over the years.
