The Maharashtra state’s economy is set to reach $1 trillion by 2027 and District Strategic Plan will play an important role in achieving it. The cooperation of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) of Nagpur is to be taken to bring consistency and proper planning to the District Development Plan.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between IIM and District administration in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis,
Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari, Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar and IIM Director Dr. Bhimaraya Maitri.
Special planning has been decided for economic growth and an increase in gross income keeping Nagpur district at the centre. In order to achieve the goal of comprehensive and sustainable development of the district under this, the cooperation of the Indian Management Institute will be taken.
