A terrible accident of a passenger bus took place in Buldhana. 25 passengers have died on the spot. There were a total of 33 passengers in the bus. Eight of these passengers got out safely. The accident took place on Samrudhi Highway near Pimpalkhuta village near Sindkhedaraja in Buldhana district.
This passenger bus was going from Nagpur to Pune. This terrible incident took place around half past midnight.
The bus was carrying passengers from Nagpur, Wardha, and Yavatmal. This bus belonged to Vidarbha Travels Yavatmal. The bus hit a road divider on Samrudhi Highway near Pimpalkhuta village near Sindkhedaraja and then the bus caught fire.
The bus quickly caught fire after coming in contact with diesel. After that, out of 33 passengers in the bus, eight passengers got out safely. 25 passengers have died on the spot. Those who escaped unhurt include the driver and the carrier. Meanwhile, the injured have been taken to a nearby government hospital.
The accident involved a significant bus operated by Vidarbha Travels (MH 29 BE 1819). Preliminary information reveals that some passengers from Nagpur district were traveling in the bus at around 2 PM when the accident occurred.
