There is an atmosphere of excitement among the Bharatiya Janata Party workers after the political earthquake that saw senior NCP leaders including Ajit Pawar join the government. The workers of the Bjp feel that it happened only because of the political skills of the Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. On all these developments, hoardings glorifying respective leaders are being seen across the state.
One such hoarding was spotted at Butibori with picture of Devendra Fadnavis mentioning him as ‘Mahachanakya of Maharashtra’. Surprisingly, some office-bearers had mentioned Fadnavis as the future Chief Minister a few weeks back at the same place.
“Salaam to your Chanakyaniti Devendrabhau” who brought two parties together with BJP for the benefit of Maharashtra’ is printed on this banner. Photographs of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule are also printed on these banners alongside Devendra Fadnavis and the symbols of the three parties, lotus, clock and bow are seen together.
Bablu Gautam, a BJP official in Butibori, has put up these banners unofficially. It was Gautam who had put up banners mentioning Fadnavis as the future Chief Minister in the month of April. Fadnavis openly expressed his displeasure over this.
