The weather department has predicted thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds after July 4.
The city recorded 152.3 mm of rainfall as against the average rainfall of 190.6 mm in the month. Now the citizens are eagerly waiting for rains to come.
As per the department, a cyclonic circulation is created at Bay of Bengal and Andman while it would take rain-bearing clouds 48 hours to reach Central India. Therefore, it has predicted rains here after July 4.
