As they say, “age is just a number”, the adage goes live at Bhajan Sandhya and umbrella distribution event organised amidst the fresh scent of early monsoon rains at Panchavati Vruddhashram, UmredRoad, Nagpur – the home for elderly in Nagpur.
The event, “Sneh Sparsh – Let’s Touch Lives” was a noble initiative undertaken under Non-Medical Avenue of Rotary Club Of Nagpur Ishanya by NileshRathi CC Non – Medical.
The sobre symphony and serene harmony were clubbed together to deliver an incredible view of many memorable moments that touched the souls. With around 50-55 senior residents from the ashram, 30 other non-Rotary guests & many of Rotary & R’anns of the club, the event brought together a community of individuals determined to make a Happy & Positive Impact among the Senior inmates. Amidst soul-stirring bhajans and a serene atmosphere, the gathering witnessed an outpouring of love, joy, and selfless service.
Melody of Devotion – As the clock struck 4.00 pm,the entire venue resonated with celestial energy. The melodious voices of Shre Shyam and Shri ShubhamTapadiaji, renowned bhajan singers from the Shyam-Shubham group, filled the air with divine tunes. Their soulful renditions created an aura of spiritual bliss, enveloping the Vruddhashram premises with a sense of tranquility.
The attendees, encompassing both the senior inmates and the honored guests, immersed themselves in the enchanting melodies, finding solace and happiness in the power of devotional music. Fullon Ki Holi on Devotional Songs when sung by the singers lifted the evented to high Vibes. All the Senior inmates enjoyed the Flower showering on them with R’anns dancing & playing “Fugdi” in hues. The entire venue was full with flower showering all over. 8-10 Senior Female inmates even came front to dance to the tune of bhajan’s with flowers showering on them.
Gratitude and Generosity – The event not only touched hearts but also celebrated the individuals who made it possible. Rtn. Nilesh N. Rathi – CC non-medical, the project lead under the non-medical sector, played a pivotal role in orchestrating the memorable evening. The Project Directors, R’annRakhi Rajkumar Gandhi and R’ann Rashmi KapilRathi alongwith R’ann’s Meera Malpani, ShivaniRathi, Rashmi Kothari, Manisha Adtiya, Bela Rathi, Kiran Taori, Chandana Kothari, Sunitaa Nabira, Neha Pasari, Anuja Binzhani, Kirti Agrawal, AnjuAgrawal, Apurva Heda, Karuna Bang, VarshaJawandhiya, Menka Fattehpuria, Kirti Deshmukh,Mrs. Lahoti, Rotarian’s IPP Naresh Baldua ji,Krishnakumar Malpani, Subhash Lahoti, Rajiv Sen, Ankit Pasari, Gopal Keyal, Saurabh Sanghani, KapilRathi, Nagendra Rathi, Mahendra Heda & manyother, worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was taken care of, adding a personal touch to the proceedings. Vice President Gautam Baid took the opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation by presenting mementos to the talented bhajan singers, the generous donor Smt. Kirandevi Rathi, and the dedicated Vruddhashram care taker Tikekar Madam& Staff. Their contributions and unwavering support made a significant difference in the lives of the senior inmates. The Vote of Thanks were given by CC Non-Medical Nilesh Rathi.
Happiness under the umbrella – The event extended beyond the gathering R’ann Nidhi Rathi, R’ann Chandana Kothari, R’ann Anuja Binzani, R’ann Neha donated Umbrellas to those present in the event, their caring spirit reached the cottages of the senior inmates who were unable to attend due to illness & also made them compassionate, givingprasadi and much-needed umbrellas as the rainy season approached. Their gestures of kindness and thoughtfulness touched the hearts of the elderly, spreading smiles and reminding them that they were cherished and not forgotten.
