Sinade Tvet Managers’ International Conference was held on 4th July 2023 at Hotel Centre Point Nagpur by MSME-DFO Nagpur in association with bbw-Internatioanl Germany, AIM, ACMA, Federation of Industries Association, Madhya Pradesh and MIDC Industries Association, Nagpur. Govt. of India and the Government of Germany had agreed to the development of vocational education and training in India through Project SINADE implemented by the German Agency bbw-International –one of the leading institutions for vocational training and qualification system in Germany. The objective of the Conference was to discuss the work plan of the SINADE Project with all three clusters selected from Nagpur, Indore, ACMA, NCR, Pune and Chennai.
The Conference was attended by Mr. Jens Keyser, Project Manager, SINADE project, Shri Dinesh Rai, Retd. IAS, Ex-Secretary Govt. of India, Shri P.M.Parlewar, Director, MSME-DFO, Nagpur, Shri B.C.Bhartia, President, CAIT, Shri Arunachalam Karthikeyan, Moderator Capt. Randhir, President, MIA, Shri Nitin Lonkar, President BMA, Ms. MeikeJager from German Embassy and all the participants who are selected and undergoing the training.
In the beginning, the programme started with the lighting of lamps by the dignitaries, followed by bouquets and a memento presentation. Shri P.M.Parlewar, Director, MSME-DFO Nagpur, welcomed all the dignitaries and participants in his welcome address. He briefed on the objective of the SINADE project and said that it would immensely help the MSME sector by developing skilled manpower. He expressed sincere gratitude to Shri Dinesh Rai Sir for his efforts and initiative for the SINADE project.
In his Presidential address, Shri Dinesh Rai, Retd. IAS welcomed all the participants and said that we are fortunate that Germany is transferring their technology in India, which will benefit the MSME sector in India as there is huge potential for skilled manpower in the MSME sector. It will also help in reducing unemployment in India to a certain extent. He said it will also be a model for other clusters in India. Shri B.C.In his address, Bhartia, Chairman, CAIT said that skilled manpower is the need of the hour. He said that this programme will be helpful for manufacturing quality products at a minimum cost. This is the era of Local go Global, he said.
In his keynote address, Shri Jens Keyser, Project Manager, SINADE Project, said that India has developed tremendously in the last few decades. He explained in detail the dual education and vocational training system in Germany. He said that the objective of the SINADE project in India is to strengthen the individuals-industry relations with vocational education and training in the clusters. This will strengthen the pool of qualified experts in the clusters. Capt. Randhir, the President of MIA, said that this project will help the industries in India, thereby increasing their productivity and quality with maximum efficiency at the minimum cost. Shri P. Mohan, Secretary MIA, proposed a vote of thanks. The Nagpur Cluster, Indore Cluster and ACMA Cluster representatives gave PowerPoint presentations. Similarly, Mr. Jens Keyser, Project Director, gave a presentation on the Objectives and milestones of SINADE. He also replied to the queries raised by the participants.
After the inaugural session, a Panel discussion was held on the topic “Importance of Vocational Training in India” in which Shri Dinesh Rai, Retd. IAS, Shri Jens Keyser, Project Manager SINADE, Shri P.M.Parlewar, Director, MSME-DFO, Shri B.C.Bhartia, President, CAIT, Shri P.T.Deotale, Joint Director, occasional Education, Shri Prashant Kadu, Professor, RTMNU, and Capt. Randhir, President, MIA, Hingna were the panellist. After the panel discussion, Group presentations were held in which three groups from three clusters were made, and they explained their experience and findings and what they learnt during the training. An Open House discussion was held which was held by Mr Arunachalam Karthikeyan, Moderator. In the end, Sh Dinesh Rai, Retd. IAS, MsMeikeJager from German Embassy, gave closing remarks. The programme ended with a Vote of thanks by Mr. Jens Keyser, Project Manager, SINADE. The programme was a great success.
