The Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, has announced that the answer keys for the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2023 will be made available to the public on July 5 or 6. The UGC Chief further stated that the UGC NET 2023 examination results will be announced in the second week of August.
Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET exam will be able to access the answer keys for the June 2023 session on the official website ugenet.ntanic.in. This will enable them to cross-check their responses and evaluate their performance.
In addition to this announcement, the UGC emphasized that fulfilling the basic requirements for direct hiring to the position of Assistant Professor in all Higher Education Institutions should be done through the National Eligibility Test (NET), State Eligibility Test (SET), or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET). This underlines the importance of qualifying in these tests for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors.
Earlier this year, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Undergraduate programs successfully conducted its first phase from May 21 to 24. UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar reported a total of 2,24,575 candidates appearing for the exam, with an average attendance of 76 per cent on the second day.
While a few centres experienced delays due to technical issues, the examinations were ultimately completed successfully. The UGC Chairman assured that steps are being taken to release the CUET (UG) phase 2 admit cards by the morning of May 23.
The UGC NET answer keys and subsequent results hold significant importance for aspiring candidates as they eagerly await their scores and performance evaluations.
