Gruner Renewable Energy, a prominent biogas plant manufacturer in India, has embarked on a pioneering venture by establishing nation’s inaugural biocng project, utilizing Napier Grass as primary feedstock. This remarkable undertaking has been established in Lassanpur village,Nagpur (Maharashtra). By implementing this Bio-CNG plant, Gruner Renewable Energy not only aims to curb the reliance on fossil fuels and thus contributing GoI’s (Government of India) goal of carbon footprint reduction. Simultaneously, this initiative will invigorate the local economy by generating employment opportunities and fostering business prospects for the surrounding community.
Moreover, recognizing the impending depletion of non-renewable resources, the company through its innovative R&D approach is actively involved in establishing Bio-CNG plants across the nation with the collaborative support of German and Italian technology partners. This collaboration results in harnessing the power of renewable sources such as Agri-waste, energy crops and other organic waste etc. to generate clean energy (Bio-CNG) for balancing the ecosystem and fulfilling modern day energy requirements. The fundamental concept behind this project revolves around the conversion of biowaste into biomethane (~98% CH4). By employing this ingenious approach, Gruner Renewable Energy aims to address the challenges posed by diminishing non-renewable sources while providing a sustainable energy alternative for the future generation.
The company has conceptualized and constructed this biogas plant for APSS Adarsh Bio Agro Pvt. Ltd, showcasing their commitment for promoting sustainable bioenergy production practices and empowering the region. This visionary initiative harnesses the potential of Napier grass, a high energy crop to significantly reduce carbon emissions and reduces reliance on non-renewable energy sources, effectively aligning with both national and global environmental objectives. By implementing this plant, all partners aim to drive positive changes in local economy by contributing to a greener, more sustainable energy for the region.
