A car going from Ramtek to Bhandara has met with a terrible accident. It has been reported that two people in the car have died after a speeding car hit a truck from behind. Eight people were injured in this accident, including three children.
Rajesh Bhendarkar, a resident of Bhandara district, along with some of his family members had come to visit Ramtek. While they were returning to their village after visiting the Ramtek temple, their car collided with a container truck parked near Aroli Khandala village on the Ramtek-Bhandara road. The accident was so severe that the driver and the woman sitting in the front seat were trapped in the car with injuries.
All the injured were admitted to Ramtek Government Hospital for treatment, but Parasram Bhendarkar died during treatment. the rest of the injured have been sent to Nagpur.
