The Central India Women’s College of Education celebrated 108th foundation day of the SNDT Women’s University.
The chief guest of the program was principal of Central India B.Ed. College Dr Swati Raut, principal of Central India Adhyapak Vidhyalaya Dr Yasmin Siddiqui, principal of Central India Law College Dr Pallavi Bhave, principal of Central India Women’s College of Education Dr Seema Chikhale and Asst Prof Dr Shabana Anjum.
The programme began with dignitaries garlanding the photo of Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve. Dr Swati Raut said that women have faced exploitation for thousands of years, by working hard. Their identity in the whole world today.
Dr Seema Chikhale said that the most important objective of the founder of the university Karve, was to strive for the empowerment of women by making them financially independent and capable of thinking independently.
All Principals, teaching and non- teaching staff and students of the institution were present. Prof Rekha Kale conducted the proceedings while Prof Sharda Thakre proposed a vote of thanks.
