A team from the Nagpur Police has been dispatched to Belgaum with the aim of bringing in terrorist Afsar Pasha, who is allegedly involved in the Nitin Gadkari threat case. The police have established that Jayesh Pujari, the accused in the case, made a menacing phone call to Gadkari’s office under the instructions of Afsar Pasha.
Afsar Pasha, a former secretary of both Lashkar-e-Taiba and Popular Front of India, is currently incarcerated in Belgaum Jail. According to investigations, Pasha instigated Jayesh Pujari to carry out these threatening calls, demanding a ransom from Nitin Gadkari.
Moreover, two separate cases have been registered against Pasha in Thane. Subsequent to Jayesh’s revelations, the Dhantoli police registered a case against Afsar Pasha under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The Nagpur Police’s swift action in pursuing Pasha highlights their determination to ensure the safety and security of public figures. Efforts to apprehend the accused will likely intensify as law enforcement agencies work together to bring him to justice and uphold the rule of law.
