GMC Hospital has launched an inquiry into an alarming incident where a resident doctor allegedly attempted to film a female doctor while she was taking a bath. In response to a complaint received, the hospital administration swiftly formed a six-member committee to investigate the matter.
GMC Hospital provides separate hostels for its resident doctors, accommodating both male and female medical professionals. On Thursday night, a distressing incident unfolded as a second-year female resident doctor was bathing. During this time, a fellow resident doctor reportedly attempted to record a video using his mobile phone. The vigilant doctor immediately noticed the intrusion and took immediate action.
Following the incident, a complaint was filed at the Superintendent’s office on Friday afternoon. The Superintendent promptly contacted the hostel warden, and a meeting was convened with representatives of the resident doctors. To ensure a thorough inquiry, a six-member committee headed by Jayesh Mukhi was established to investigate the incident.
