Students from Centre Point School (CPS), Wardhaman Nagar showcased their knowledge and emerged victorious in the Online Earthquake Tips Quiz organized by the National Information Centre for Earthquake Engineering (NICEE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kanpur. The participants brought accolades to their school and secured cash prizes, books, and certificates.
Among the commendable achievements, Navinya Dhawale and Vatsal Agrawal, both Class 9 students of CPS, WN, secured a spot among the top ten winners nationwide. Navinya was honoured with a cash prize of Rs. 2000/- along with books and a certificate, while Vatsal received a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- along with books and a certificate.
Additionally, other students from classes 9 and 10, namely Gargi Wasule, Shouryadeb Sanyal, Vivaan Sangar, Tejas Pugalia, and Saaj Modi, participated in the quiz and were appreciated with books and certificates for their efforts. The students demonstrated great commitment, dedicating their lunch breaks to rigorous training for the competition. Nisha Tiwari and Philomena Gounder guided and supervised their preparation and performance.
