Nagpur Police has successfully transported terrorist Afsar Pasha from Belgaum Jail to Nagpur on a production warrant pertaining to the Nitin Gadkari threat case. A team from Dhantoli police had travelled to Belgaum to secure Pasha’s presence in Nagpur.
The case involves the accused Jayesh Pujari, who allegedly made a menacing phone call to Nitin Gadkari’s office under the instructions of Afsar Pasha.
Afsar Pasha, previously associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Popular Front of India, is currently incarcerated in Belgaum Jail. It is alleged that Pasha instigated Jayesh Pujari to issue threatening demands for ransom to Nitin Gadkari’s office.
Furthermore, two cases have been registered against Pasha in Thane. Following Jayesh’s disclosure, the Dhantoli police have filed a case against Afsar Pasha under the ‘UAPA’ Act.
The apprehension and transfer of Afsar Pasha marks a significant development in the Nitin Gadkari threat case, as investigators work to gather evidence and ensure that justice is served.
