Renowned Marathi film actor Ravindra Hanumant Mahajani was found dead in his apartment in MIDC Road, Ambi, Pune. He was 77. He was living alone in the flat for the last 7/8 months. The exact reason for his death would be known after the post-mortem report. His son Gashmir was informed by the people in the society.
Ravindra Mahajan, earned his name and fame through his powerful acting. He was very popular from 1975 to 1990. Noted films of Ravindra include Mumbaicha Fauzdar, Zunz, Kalat Nakalat, Aaram Haraam. The super hit actor worked as a taxi driver for about three years in the initial stage of his career. He made rounds at several studios and met many directors and producers and worked as a taxi driver during the evening. He made his debut in V Shantaram’s film Zunz. Besides Marathi, he also acted in Hindi and Gujarati films. His son Gashmir is also a leading actor.
