The aspirants have thanked Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his secretary Sandip Joshi. Joshi followed the issue with the government. About 200 students met Joshi at ‘Devgiri’ to thank him for his efforts.
BARTI, an autonomous institute under the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance has centres at Nashik, Aurangabad, Pune and Nagpur. The centre conducts training for the students preparing for MPSC. The training period at the three centres, except Nagpur is of 12 months. The centre at Nagpur was allowed training for ten months only. The MPSC aspirants were demanding an extension of the period to 12 months like other centres.
A memorandum of the demand was submitted to Fadnavis through Joshi, who followed the issue. Joshi said that the credit goes to Fadnavis who understood the issue. He also appealed to the students to work hard and after succeeding serve the people beyond consideration of caste, creed, and religion.
