The India Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rain in Nagpur district from July 27 to 31.
IMD has issued a yellow alert for this period. Accordingly, the citizens, especially the farmers are requested to take necessary care.
It is necessary to stay inside the house during lightning and do not accidentally stand under a tree. If water is flowing over the bridge of the river or canal, then do not dare to try to cross the bridge in any way. The district control room has appealed to the citizens especially the youths not to try to enter the water in rivers, lakes and dams.
