1600 bedded Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital, (AVBRH) Sawangi-Meghe (Wardha), a leading healthcare institution and constituent unit of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (DU) today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Regional Centre Ex Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (RC ECHS). This partnership aims to offer comprehensive capless and cashless medical treatment to veterans, ensuring they receive the best healthcare services without any financial burden.
AVBRH is a unit of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research Trust and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector. A forerunner in integrated healthcare, the Hospital has a robust presence with over 10 super specialties in the healthcare spectrum. It has emerged as one of the trusted healthcare providers in Central India and is supported by a team of full time stationed experienced, compassionate and dedicated medical professionals.
Under this MoA, veterans will have access to a wide range of specialized medical services at AVBR Hospital, Sawangi-Meghe (Wardha). The collaboration allows ECHS members to receive top-quality care across various disciplines, including cardiology, orthopaedics, neurology, Comprehensive Cancer Care, Nuclear medicine and more. This initiative reflects the shared commitment of the Trust to honour and support the ex-servicemen who have served our country with dedication and sacrifice. This will benefit ex-service men residing in & around Wardha including Chandur Railway, Amravati, Akola, Washim, Amravati and nearby places who otherwise had to travel to Nagpur.
The MoA was signed by Group Capt. Sony Akkara, Director, RC ECHS and Competent Authority of DMIHER. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor-DMIHER Dr Lalit Waghmare expressed his enthusiasm about this collaboration, stating, “We are honoured to partner with the ECHS.
