Vande Bharat trains are likely to start from Nagpur to Pune, Hyderabad and Bhopal soon. Divisional Railway Manager Tusharkant Pandey has informed that the railway officials have sent a study report in this regard to the Ministry of Railways.
From the Nagpur railway station, trains go to various regions in all four directions of the country. Most of the trains from Nagpur are crowded with passengers. However, the most crowded trains are for Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bhopal. There are quite a number of trains from Nagpur to Mumbai. The number of trains going to Pune, Hyderabad and Bhopal is less compared to the rush of passengers. Due to this, a large number of private buses ply from Nagpur to Pune, Hyderabad and Bhopal.
Vande Bharat is receiving huge response from passengers on various routes across the country and especially on the Central Railway section including Maharashtra. Keeping that in mind, the Ministry of Railways is also preparing to run Vande Bharat trains on various routes. Due to this, there are indications that Vande Bharat trains from Nagpur to Pune, Hyderabad and Bhopal will start soon.
If Vande Bharat train starts from Nagpur to Pune Hyderabad and Bhopal it will help in de-crowding in other trains and will reduce the heavy load on the railway administration due to reservation. Currently the Vande Bharat train runs on Nagpur – Bilaspur route. This luxurious train has the highest passenger response compared to all Vande Bharats of Central Railway.
Divisional Manager of Railways Tusharkant Pandey said that “the subject of Vande Bharat Train is entirely under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Railways, it will be decided from where and when to start the Vande Bharat train”.
