Farhan Akhtar has almost given his Don franchise fans what they needed. He has teased the release of Don 3, but he has also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan would not reprise his legendary titular role in the threequel.
Farhan took to social media on Tuesday to offer a preview video for the news. While his tweet lacked a caption, the teaser did the rest of the talking. It focused attention on the number ‘3’ written in the centre of the screen. The font and style of the figure are uncannily similar. If there were any unturned stones, the background music sounded like a faint repetition of the Don title track, ‘Main Hoon Don.’
