On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, the Metro rake was parked between Mihan Depot and Khapri Station. During this time, it was attacked by some graffiti artists. The ones who did doodles on two coaches and driving cab. They spray-painted Drope Kenn on the same.
This is a western copied way of painting doodles on the stuff as a mark of protest or just vandalism by disfiguring walls, metros or buses. This can also be considered as a way to try hands out and showcase it on the people through painting metros.
The place where the metro was sparked had no security, lighting or CCTV arrangement. The metros were painted recently with bright colours, the logo of G20 and a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Considering the matter of an unprotected metro rake parked between Mihan Depot and Khapri Station, the case has been filed at Sonegaon police station against an anonymous painter.
