Customs Department has arrested a man at Nagpur Airport in connection with gold smuggling. 283.83 grams of gold has been seized from this man. The man had reached Nagpur by Air Arabia’s Sharjah flight.
The customs department took this action based on secret information. The detained accused has been identified as Shamshan Ahmed. custom team made preparations and made a plan to catch the smuggler. Ahmed was questioned during the investigation. first he did not open his mouth and kept evading. Later, when he was thoroughly examined, a packet was found from him. During investigation, it was found that he had brought 283.83 grams of gold in liquid form.
The market value of this gold is Rs 16.66 lakh. The Customs Department arrested him and his interrogation is on.
