Crime Branch of Nagpur raided a hookah parlour operating at Old Habit Cafe in Omkar Nagar area under Ajni police station and seized goods worth ₹70,000. Police have also booked Nitin Pal (40), Abhijeet Bhagat (24) and Mohd. Imran Khan (25).
On the night of August 17, the police received information that the accused were serving tobacco products and various flavored hookahs to the customers in the cafe. After which the police team raided the cafe.
A case has been registered against the accused under Section 4 (1) of the Cigarette and Tobacco Prohibition Act 2003 at Ajni police station. This action was taken under the guidance of DCP (crime) Mumakka Sudarshan.
