Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge announced the Congress Working Committee on Sunday. While Kharge has included many Leaders in this committee, he has shown the way out to many. Former minister Nitin Raut’s name is also included in the leaders who have been excluded. after the ouster of Raut from the working committee, a round of discussions has started in the politics of Nagpur.
39 Leaders have been included in the working committee announced by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Which include Mukul Wasnik, Ashok Chavan, Avinash Pandey from Maharashtra. Chandrakant Handore is the only one of the 18 permanent invitee and Manikrao Thakre is the only one of the 14 in-charges. With this Yashomati Thakur, Praniti Shinde have been included in 9 special invitee.
Nitin Raut is one of the senior Congress leaders. Being a former minister, he is a multiple time MLA. he has former head of the Congress Scheduled Caste Cell. apart from Mukul Wasnik, Ashok Chavan, Avinash Pandey, Raut is the most senior leader among all the people who have been included in the Congress Working Committee, but in spite of this he has been excluded.
Nitin Raut has been in a very silent mode in the Congress for some time now. He does not participate in any events of the party. all the leaders attended the last MVA public rally held in Nagpur and went to Bhandara saying that it was a pre-planned programme. Nitin Raut remained absent from the Core Committee meeting held in Mumbai, the review meeting of Lok Sabha constituencies held by Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar in Nagpur four days ago. Raut had held a separate meeting before the Vajramuth meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi. For some time, he seemed to be separating from the party.
