The old overbridge at Chinchbhuwan on the Nagpur-Wardha highway is being demolished. this road has been closed for traffic since Monday evening. A concrete box will be placed in the abutment area of the bridge, and it will take three months for work.
The problem of diversion has been going on in the city for the last two years on Wardha Road. Now, as the Chinchbhuwan Road overbridge descending to Khapari is being demolished, the traffic from the bridge has been diverted. The work of the third and fourth lines between Nagpur-Sevagram has made it necessary to increase the width below the old bridge. So the bridge adjacent to this bridge was built due to the work of this railway line. The contract for the old bridge work has been awarded to CS Construction. The company closed and diverted the road with iron panel fencing of the old bridge on Monday evening.
