NAGPUR District Unified Hockey Association (NDUHA) in association with District Sports Office (DSO) will be organising a one-day hockey tournament to celebrate National Sports Day on August 29. The tournament will be held at St Mary’s School Ground, behind Ayappa Nagar. NDUHA will also be felicitating players who have represented Hockey Maharashtra in the national championships, informs a press release. The winner of the tournament will get a cash award of Rs 7000 while the runners-up will get Rs 5000. Interested teams from the Nagpur districts may contact Anil Daral, or Parvez Qureshi, Secretary, NDUHA.
