The Nagpur Police have busted yet another group selling counterfeit Apple items. In their most recent operation, the Sitabuldi police recovered counterfeit goods valued 87.59 lakh from numerous stores throughout the city.
Following this, the representatives of the organization that Apple had selected to handle cases involving phony items started to work. They arrived in Nagpur and conducted an inspection, discovering that this type of scam was prevalent throughout the city. In this regard, a complaint application was delivered to the Sitabuldi police station.
On Tuesday, the police raided White House owned by Ajay Makhijani, Ganesh Mobile owned by Bhushan Gehani, Pratham Mobile owned by Manoj Dhanrajani and Laxminarayan Mobile Shop owned by Sahil Bajaj in Sitabuldi. Police seized fake products worth *87.59 lakh in these raids.
It included iPhones, charger, adapter, USB cable, AirPods, cover, MacBook. A case under the Copy- right Act has been registered against all the four accused in Si- tabuldi police station on the com- plaint of Yashwant Mohite (Navi Mumbai), an officer of the com- pany. A team of senior PI Naren- dra Hivre, PI Gedam, Santosh Kadam, Vinod Tiwari, Aba Munde, Chandrasekhar, Pritam, Dheeraj took this action.
