Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass’ swimmers showcased exceptional skills and won several accolades in the TARANG Swimming Competition 2023. The event was organized by Delhi Public School, Lava and conducted by the Aquatic Association of Nagpur. It witnessed swimmers from across the region vying for top honours on 3rd September, 2023.
Arhaan Khan clinched the Silver Medal in the 50m Butterfly event, completing the race in a swift 00:53:18 seconds.
Zarah Dongaji won the Bronze Medal in the 50m Butterfly, clocking in at 00:59:38 seconds. Zarah also showcased her versatility by securing the 4th position in the 50m backstroke and the 6th place in the 50m freestyle.
Manakarnika Jogdand displayed her prowess in the 50m Backstroke, bagging the Bronze Medal with a timing of 00:56:01 seconds.
Viraj Fuke brought home two Bronze Medals in the 25m freestyle and 25m backstroke events, with timings of 00:26:44 seconds and 00:27:23 seconds, respectively. He also achieved the 5th position in the 50m freestyle, clocking 01:05:11 seconds.
Batul Husain earned a commendable 4th place in both the 50m freestyle and 100m individual medley. Batul also secured the 6th position in the 50m Backstroke event.
Aarohi Ranade displayed her skill in the 25m Free backstroke event by securing the 4th place and also achieved the 5th place in the 50m freestyle event.
Aryan Bajaj swam to a respectable 4th place in the 50m Backstroke event, completing the event in 01:00:09 seconds.
Abhimanyu Samrit bagged the 5th position in the 50m Backstroke event with a timing of 01:00:28 seconds.
Kuhu Singrakhia demonstrated her mettle by securing the 6th position in the 50m freestyle event.
The winners were commended by the Principal, Mrs. Perveen Cassad, Vice-Principal, Mrs. Bhakti Bobde, mentors, Mr. Chetan Samrit, Mr. Pritam Pinjarkar and Mrs. Madhuri Bhagat and the staff. Well done, champs!
