Manoj Kumar Suryawanshi, Chairman, of NIT, said, the Futala fountain project will be opened for citizens by November.
The lake rejuvenation plan is also on the cards and for the same, rehabilitation of the families residing on its bank has been proposed. MLA Vikas Thakre, also on NIT as a Trustee, is working with the agency to ensure the rehabilitation of the nearly 300 to 350 people in the area. Suitable land is being located for the rehabilitation as suggested by Thakre. Crowding at Futala Road would not occur as suitable measures are being put in place to avoid the same, he added.
