The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has revised the academic calendar for the 2023-24 session, extending the last date for first-year student admissions, lateral entry admissions, and grant of affiliation to technical institutions to October 30. This revision is in compliance with a Supreme Court order dated October 13, 2023.
The updated academic calendar can be found on the AICTE’s official website, aicte-india.org. The deadline for admitting first-year students to institutes was earlier set on September 15, while the last date for grant of affiliation was July 31. The revised academic calendar will not be applicable for standalone PGDM and PGCM institutions.
