The Chemistry Department of RTM Nagpur University and the Indian Thermodynamics Society has organised the 13th Thermodynamics Conference from October 26 to 28.
The conference will be inaugurated at 10 am on October 26, at Gurunanak Bhavan of the University.
RTMNU is hosting the conference during its centenary year celebrations and the Diamond Jubilee year of the Chemistry Department.
RTMNU Pro-VC Dr Sanjay Dudhe will chair the inaugural function. Dr Nand Kishor from IIT, Mumbai will deliver the keynote address. Dean of the Science and Technology Faculty Dr Prashant Maheshwari, Nagpur Regional Joint Director of Higher Education Dr Sanjay Thakre, dr Ramesh Gardas from IIT Madras, HoD of Chemistry Department Dr N N Karde will remain present.
The Indian Thermodynamics Society was formed in 2001 and the first conference was held at Guru Nanak University, Amritsar. Experts in the field will participate in the conference. Nagpur University had hosted the third conference in 2008.
