Following the resounding success of the 4-day “Udyojika Swavalamban Mela – An all Eves’ Exhibition,” stallholders have shown a keen interest in participating in our E-commerce portal. In response to the aspirations of Lady Entrepreneurs seeking to join this platform, VIA LEW organized a workshop on E-Portal.
During the COVID lockdown, VIA LEW launched the “vialewudyojika” online portal, which was inaugurated by Mrs. Smriti Irani, the Hon’ble Minister of Textiles of India. “vialewudyojika” serves as a multivendor e-commerce platform, showcasing an extensive range of products created by women entrepreneurs from the Vidarbha region. Product categories include clothing, home decor, dry fruits, flower decorations, bags, paintings, and more. Explore these unique offerings at www.vialewudyojika.com.
The Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA LEW) hosted a workshop entitled “VIA LEW – Multivendor Store” on October 20, 2023, at the VIA Auditorium in Nagpur. The event commenced with a warm welcome from Rashmi Kulkarni, Chairperson of LEW, highlighting VIA LEW’s enduring commitment to supporting women in business.
To celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of these women, Himanshu Subramaniam, an expert speaker from Whiz Softwares, conducted a live demonstration of the e-portal. He guided participants in selecting product content, uploading images, and effectively communicating with customers. His advice included strategies for promoting products through social media and demonstrated how to independently manage an online store.
“vialewudyojika.com” goes beyond being just an E-commerce portal; it’s a dedicated marketing platform for Lady Entrepreneurs. Each vendor receives a unique URL code that functions as their virtual shop, providing the convenience of a personalized website. The workshop elucidated how women can curate their virtual shops, market their products, and effortlessly connect with “vialewudyojika.com” to sell their offerings globally. The presentation by Himanshu Subramanyam visibly boosted the entrepreneurial confidence of the participants.
Manish Bawankar, Project Director, welcomed the members and introduced them to the e-portal and its mission. Poonam Lala, Immediate Past Chairperson of VIA LEW, shared her valuable insights.
Yogita Deshmukh, Secretary of LEW, expressed her gratitude with a formal vote of thanks to all attendees.
VIA LEW remains committed to supporting and empowering Lady Entrepreneurs through workshops like these, with a focus on enhancing their confidence and technical competence.
“By supporting this e-portal, www.vialewudyojika.com, you are endorsing products that are locally sourced and crafted by Lady Entrepreneurs. This is a testament to the hard work and resilience of women, delivered by women.”
