Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Udisi and Mohiniyattam, the Indian classical dance forms performed by artists from all over Maharashtra in Nagpur. 155 artistes performed their art in this non-stop Ghungroo Naad activity which lasted for twelve hours.
Akhand Ghungru Naad-2023″ classical dance program organized by Nataraj Art and Culture Center run by Dharampeth Education Institute on Sunday at Vinayakrao Gate Memorial Hall of Dharampeth College. In this ceremony, 155 artists from 36 institutes from Nagpur, Amravati, Akola, Chandrapur, Akola, Yavatmal, Pune from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh gave an amazing dance performance.
Akhand Ghungru Naad started with a ‘theme song’ composed by teachers of Nataraj Art Center Pooja Hirwade and Avanti Kate based on Kinkani Shloka from Bharatamuni’s Natyashastra. In this activity, which was held in four stages in twelve hours from 8 am to 8 pm, these two artists gave a presentation on this ‘theme song’ every hour.
