Preparations for the winter session of the Assembly begins in Nagpur. the Public Works Department has issued a tender for works worth about Rs 18 crore. The tender for some works has gone out by less than 45 percent.
Last year approximately Rs 62 crores were spent for the winter session whereas the estimated amount of expenditure was estimated at around Rs 90 crores. This year this expenditure may increase by some percent. But compared to last year, this year also the process of withdrawal of tenders issued for works has started.
Initially about 75 tenders have been issued by the Public Works Department. Out of which bids for bills as high as 45 percent have been received from some tenders. According to the Public Works Department, this year also the expenditure of the convention may remain the same as last year. In this session, three cabinet ministers will be allotted bungalows in Nag Bhawan because according to the number of cabinet, there is a shortage in the number of cottages for ministers in Ravi Bhawan.
The bungalow has been selected for Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, now the work of renovating has started. There is only one route to reach the bungalow selected for the second Deputy Chief Minister of the state, hence another new route will be prepared for security reasons. Similarly, the work of finding an office for the Deputy Chief Minister in the Vidhan Bhawan has also been started.
According to the information that has come out, an amount of more than Rs 1.5 crore will be spent on the bungalow of the Deputy Chief Minister.
