The way is almost cleared for construction of five more flyovers in Nagpur. The state government has sanctioned a fund of 792 crores for five flyovers in the city and East, Central and South Nagpur will be connected through these flyovers. This will help in reducing traffic congestion in these areas.
There was a demand for these five flyovers for a long time. a demand has also been made before Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. A proposal for a flyover was prepared by Maharail. The proposal was then presented to both the leaders. The flyovers were approved during a meeting at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai on June 12. The state government has also approved a fund of 792 crores for this project. The tender process for this flyover will start soon and this responsibility has been given to Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, MD of Maharail Company.

- Wardhaman nagar to Nirmal nagar Umred Road – 274 crores
