An eight year old child died after falling into a pit in the school premises. This incident took place at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Ashti Branch.
The deceased Student has been identified as Sarang Homeshwar, he is resident of Jayatala Nagpur. This accident happened around 1.30 pm on Thursday.
A pit was dug for construction in the school premises. The rebar for the pillar was also laid and buried. The child was playing in the field as it was lunch break. The child fell into the pit. During this, the child suffered serious injuries around his ears, nose and eyes. At the time when this accident occurred, neither any teacher nor any other school employee was present on the ground.
The child remained lying in the pit for a long time. Other children playing together informed the teacher about this. As soon as the information about the student falling into the pit was received, there was a stir in the school premises. He was immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
As soon as information about this accident was received, The family immediately reached the hospital. The family members have blamed the school administration for the child’s death. They said that the child has lost his life due to the negligence of the school. The school management has described the child’s death as just an accident.
