The Income Tax Department took action against prominent coal businessman Sangeeta Sales. Action is being taken since morning at his residences located in Wardhaman Nagar, Kalamna Road and HB Town. along with this, action was also taken by the department against two big transporters of the city, Sapra and Chadha and an IT company. Action has also been taken at some locations located on Civil Lines in the city. However, these actions are being considered different. Two big transporters based in Mangalwari and Gokulpeth are also involved in coal transport.
Sangeeta Sales has been in the coal business for years. There is information about the action taken in the Nagpur office of their directors Anant Agarwal and Arun Agarwal. Along with this, their offices located in Bihar and Jharkhand have also been included in the action. Total 8 locations of coal trader have been covered in Nagpur. Apart from this, sources have also informed that action has been started at many places in Jharkhand and Bihar.
