Delhi Public School Kamptee Road Nagpur organised a ‘Toran Making Activity for the Grade I students on November 8th, 2023, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and delight.
The purpose of this activity was to familiarize the students with the significance of cleaning their homes and adorning them with lights, diyas, rangoli, and torans adorning the entrance, symbolizing the welcome of Goddess Laxmi. The event also aimed to elucidate the cultural importance of the festival.
Each participant admirably presented the activity, contributing to a beautiful showcase. The primary motive behind this initiative was to instill cultural values in the students.
