Hislop College defeated Dr Ambedkar College 3-0 to win the Inter-College Badminton Tournament that was organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University at Dhanwate National College (DNC).
In the first single, Meet Soki defeated Aniket Pathak 21-2-21-4. In the second single, Animesh Ghate got the better of Harsh K 21-2, 21- 14. In the doubles Amey and Animesh downed Amey and Chaitanya 21-6, 21-4.
Host DNC defeated Jyotiba College of Physical Edu- cation (JCPE) and achieved third place. Director of Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, member of board of physical education Dr Jangtiwar, Nitin Chopde, Jayant Jichkar, Dr Manoj Ambatkar, badminton coach Kunal Dasalwar, Dr Deepak Borkar, Dr Amit Kanwar and others were also present on the occasion. Dr Devendra Wankhede con- ducted the proceedings.
