11 people were injured due to firecrackers during Diwali and reached the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Nagpur for treatment. It includes four patients under 11 years of age.
Due to crackers, 11 patients reached the GMCH hospital due to pain in the eyes or other parts of the body or ears due to the sound of crackers. It also included 4 children aged 8 to 11. Some people also suffered minor burns due to firecrackers. Information was given by the GMCH administration that most of the patients were treated and discharged from the hospital. Some patients were also registered in many private hospitals.
