The Department of Surgery at Wanadongri based 800 bedded Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre has achieved a milestone in the advancement of surgical healthcare. Already equipped with state of art Minimal invasive surgical equipment, they have now announced the acquisition of the state-of-the-art LASER equipment to enhance their surgical capabilities for the treatment of anorectal diseases.
Anorectal diseases, such as haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, pilonidal sinus, and varicose veins, have been a cause of discomfort and distress for many patients. The introduction of Laser surgical treatment into their surgical repertoire represents a significant leap forward in providing patients with the latest and most advanced surgical treatments for these conditions.
Dr.Rajiv Sonarkar, Professor & Head, Surgery-SMHRC stated that Laser Unit is a highly sophisticated surgical gadget that offers precision and minimally invasive treatment options for anorectal diseases. It allows for quicker recovery times, reduced pain, and improved outcomes for our patients, enhancing the overall quality of care provided by our department.
