Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has been announced to construct a cultural and sports club on 12 acres in the city. Gadkari said, “There are many private sports and cultural clubs in Nagpur whose fees are not affordable for the common people. Therefore, a sports and cultural club will be built in an area of 12 acres. Every kind of sport will be present in the club Gadkari said.
“Once this club is developed, it will be charged in a way that will be affordable for the common citizens. The club will have gymnasium along with facilities for playing volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi etc.” There will be facilities for senior citizens, children and women. Apart from this, there will be separate rooms for senior citizens, children and women.
The Facilities for cultural programs and training of various arts will be provided at this place. Nitin Gadkari said that this is a project of Rs 100 to 150 crore and the place has also been almost finalized and it will be constructed soon.
