The construction of the flyover on Amravati Road will now take an additional six months. the cost of this project will increase by 7 crores from 478 crores to 485 crores.
Construction of the 4.79 km two flyover project is underway since March 2022. The construction was delayed due to late permission to cut trees from RTO office to Ravinagar Chowk. Apart from this, the work is delayed due to the increase in the height of the 132 KV line in the flyover being constructed from Wadi Naka to Police Station. Now the contractor company has submitted a proposal with a demand to extend the work by six months. Workers who went on vacation due to Diwali have not returned yet. At present, the work in the area from RTO to the university campus is at a standstill.
