WORLD-FAMOUS director Subhash Ghai will receive the Global Nagpur Award at the Nagpur First Summit ceremony on December 9 at a gala event.
The 10th Global Nagpur Summit is scheduled to begin at MIHAN’s IIM campus. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are expected to attend. The Global Social Expo, with the theme “Towards Resilient Rurban Economy, NGO show-case, Changemaker Awards,” will take place at 9.30 am after the inaugural ceremony.
In addition to Ghat, notable individuals who received awards were Ashish Kulkarni, an animation expert, and Manish Vaid, an international fashion designer. The summit’s culmination, the annual awards, will take place later that evening on the first day of the summit at the Persistent Systems Auditorium in IT Park. The Global Nagpur Awards are a distinguished accolade given to Central Indians who have made a lasting impression on the world scene.
Political heavyweights, industry players, and thousands of spectators are drawn to the summit. December 10, the following day, the City Growth Conference takes place at Chitnavis Centre. Tracks on IT with the theme “Rising Nagpur,” Fashion and Textile with the theme “Sustainability and Innovation in Textile,” and “Manthan with Manish” will be featured starting at 9:30 a.m.
Over the course of its nine previous editions, the two-day event has become a potent platform that has elevated Central India to a global prominence.
