Due to its obligation to make the required preparations, Nagpur Municipal Corporation is currently in action mode as the December 7 assembly session of the Maharashtra Legislature approaches. The officers have been given a variety of tasks by Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari, and they have been instructed to finish them within the allotted time.
NMC is responsible for drinking water, sanitation, health, electricity, road pit removal, and fire department operations. The assistant commissioner of general administration has been tasked with providing the principal secretary of town planning and desk officer with xerox machines, operators, stationery, and other necessary supplies.
In compliance with the directive, Dr. Gajendra Mahalle, the deputy commissioner and director of the Solid Waste Management Department, will oversee the routine cleaning of Vidhan Bhavan’s premises, as well as the exterior roads, Ravi Bhawan, Hyderabad House, and other locations. He will also make sure that stray animals are kept out of the building and provide mobile restrooms near morchas and crowds.
Road repairs in the areas of Vidhan Bhavan, Ravi Bhavan, Ramgiri, and other buildings are under the purview of Hot Mix Plant Ajay Dahake, the executive engineer.
