On the occasion of the 15th Foundation Day of NTPC Mouda, a series of events were organized in Mouda to commemorate the milestone. The day began with a marathon and a cycling event, followed by a tree plantation ceremony and an official program. The official program included a flag hoisting ceremony, conducted by Shri K.M.K. Prusty, Project Head of NTPC Mouda. The extensive lineup of events also featured a cake ceremony, an HOP speech, and an award ceremony. Following this, a grand feast and a street play were organized for all workers and employees, who joyfully participated in the celebrations.
The 15th Foundation Day celebration of NTPC Mouda saw the presence of Shri A.K. Bari, CGM Project, Shri Subhashish Guha, GM O&M, Harekrishna Jena, GM Maintenance, Shri Manish Khetrapal, GM Operation, and Shri Sagar Ranjan Sahu, HR Head.
During the celebration, Shri Prusty, in his speech, shared some of the major achievements of the station and praised the efforts of all employees. Furthermore, he emphasized the need for environmental and community concerns around the station. Shri Prusty also shared his vision for NTPC Mouda as a leading station in the western region and the country, highlighting the efforts made to create one of the best-performing stations by 2028.
Focusing on sustainability and the environment, the Project Head set goals for the station, including obtaining at least 15 megawatts of solar capacity and achieving a net-zero township for Mouda by 2025. He also stressed the target of achieving 93% operational efficiency. Shri Prusty asserted to make NTPC Mouda the number one station in the internal ranking of NTPC stations is the ultimate goal.
Encouraging the young, dynamic, and committed employees of NTPC Mouda, Shri Prusty urged them to work towards these goals. He expressed confidence that with the contribution of everyone, Mouda Station would successfully achieve these objectives and reach greater heights in the coming years.
