The pensioners may not get their dues at least for the next month, as the online submission of the Life Certificate has not been working for the last few days. The PPF office completes the formalities for a maximum of 300 pensioners every day, that too after standing in a queue at 9 am and then waiting for hours together.
The PPF office issues tokens for 300 people in the morning and then starts working on the completion of formalities.
There is a banner installed at the gate to facilitate submission of the Life Certificate, the last date of which is November 30. The pensioners are advised to download the Jeevan Praman App from Playstore and complete the formalities including a photograph of the pensioner.
The App is not working for the last few days. The procedure is simple, but every time a message ‘Application seems to be corrupted. Please try after 24 hours’ appear on the screen.
Thursday being the last day for submission of the Living Certificate, the pensioners are worried about the timely release of their pension.
Similar is the condition with the City Survey Office for mutation, entry into the Ferfar Register, and many other offices. Brokers take advantage of the situation as pensioners prefer to shed some money instead of standing in long queues.
